Signed up for Web Summit. Super easy. Steps were clear. Payment went through fine. Got the confirmation email quick too. No problems at all.

I kept assuming the next session would start soon, but the waiting time in between felt way too long. It made the whole experience drag more than I expected.

I have a high standard when it comes to events like this, and I was genuinely impressed. The speakers were really interesting, and I learned a lot from most of the talks. Overall, it felt like a worthwhile experience.

I had a few questions and wanted to make sure I was doing the right thing, and the staff were really helpful. They answered everything quickly and made me feel a lot more reassured

I went in fully prepared for the usual event WiFi disaster, because apparently reliable internet around a crowd is supposed to be a luxury. But somehow, it held up all day. Calls went through, messages sent, uploads worked fine, even with tons of people around. it made the whole event so much less stressful than I expected

Canceling was kind of slow. It wasn’t a huge disaster or anything, but I remember sitting there watching the little loading spinner and checking the time a few times because it felt like each step took longer than it should. Eventually it went through, but the process could definitely be smoother.

I mainly went for the workshops and some of them were helpful, with useful practical tips I could actually use. But a few felt a bit rushed or way too basic, like they were trying to cram in too much in not enough time. Still glad I went, but for the price I was hoping it’d be a little more useful overall. Smaller groups and more hands-on stuff would’ve made it way better imo.

I spent some time walking through the startup booths, they were really good. From my experience, the best booths are the ones where you can quickly understand what the company does and have an easy conversation with the team, and that was the case here. It felt worth stopping by and checking them out.

I enjoyed Web Summit overall and found it genuinely interesting, but the venue accessibility left me feeling a bit frustrated at times. Some areas were easy enough to get to, and the staff were helpful whenever I asked for directions, which I appreciated. But once it got crowded, a few entrances and routes started to feel confusing, and the signs didn’t always make things clear. Moving between halls took longer than I expected, and that added a bit of stress to the day. It wasn’t a terrible experience, but it did make me feel like the event could be a lot more comfortable with better planning and clearer guidance.

I went to Web Summit this year i had a good time overall. There were loads of interesting talks, and it was surprisingly easy to end up chatting with new people between sessions. Some parts were just way too packed though, especially around the food areas and the bigger stages, so the queues got old fast. The app helped a bit with figuring things out, but it wasn’t always as smooth as I hoped. Still, I came away with a few useful contacts and some ideas I’m still thinking through, so yeah, I’d probably go again

I thought the sponsors might just be there for show, but actually, they ended up being solid. I met a few useful partners there and came away feeling like it was worth the time.

I was kind of shocked by how many different people I met. There were folks from all over the world and from so many different types of jobs, not just the usual tech crowd I was expecting. It felt really open and welcoming, like somehow everyone belonged there. I may be overhyping it, but it genuinely felt like the room had the whole planet in it.
